Wider benefit
Guide for Effective Benefits Management in Major Projects, published by the Infrastructure and Projects Authority in October 2017, defines a wider benefit as: ‘The ‘ultimate’ benefit that is often hard to attribute but the project knows it is contributing towards it in some way.’
